Last night Ian told me that he wanted March to "come in like a lion". When I asked him why, he told me that if it did, there was a good chance that he'd have either a 2-hour delay or no school by Friday.
I, on the other hand, am ready for spring. Alas, we survived "Danielle" (since when do we name winter storms?) and now Edward is coming to town and is supposed to be even nastier.
Here's hoping this is the last of the snow for the year!

Seriously -- they are naming your winter storms now? Does that make them more personable? ;)
So...did you get the snow? Ours came in like a lion, but that was thanks to a huge thunder storm. (On the up side, it's finally helped to melt away some of the snow from our Feb. 13th blizzard, even though there is still plenty of it left.)
I think I shoud make a welcome sign and perhaps some cookies the next time one comes along!
Thankfully, not the full blast they were initially talking about, though it was a drear mix of rain/sleet/snow. We have plenty of snow left from last weekend's storm. Alas, Ian was disappointed there wasn't even a school delay.
Yeah -- my kids are still occassionally asking, "Is there a two hour delay?" The funniest thing is that it is jack that asks the most often. God love him -- he's in afternoon kindergarten, so the delay doesn't even effect him. LOL (Oh, okay, I guess it does because then we somemtimes let the boys sleep in bed together.)
Oh, that is too funny! Maybe one day you'll get a four hour delay and his afternoon kindergarten will be cancelled!
