So, I've been doing a lot of party hopping thanks to the Ultimate Blog Party and there aree some incredibly talented women out there! My blog looks so plain in comparision! Is it wrong to have "blog envy"?
Absolutely! There are a lot of ladies out there who can help. Blogs kind of evolve. I added on little thing at a time to mine and have hired someone to make some special things for me. I think your blog is fine though. I always get blog envy. There is so much cool stuff out there.
Hey, it looks like you've only been at it for a couple months. Mine took till just recently to evolve and it changes in stages. Not that it's anything great! I'd love to get a custom blog. Maybe one day. And thanks for stopping by to say hi on my blog.
Well, I'm here for the party. Nice to meet you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with blog envy. At least I hope not, because I suffer from it as well. You think there's a support group for us?? :)
Yep -- I've had blog envy too! ;) My main thing that I have been coveting are three column blogs. I have been coveting those for a while though. I just can't get a handle on figuring them out. (Besides, then I'm afraid that I will miss out of the new easier features of blogger.)
Blog envy is what prompted me to go out in search of a FREE New Blogger friendly template. And I found a website that has several.
COme by my place, check out my new look and find the link towards the bottom (Or check out the redecorating post for the link too) to find a new template that works great with New Blogger.
I call it "blog appreciation" and a "goal" to accomplish. Like what others said: 1) you can pay soneone to do the lay-out for you 2) Wait a little while...you're relatively new, so it's ok to be simple. Your blog will evolve into a beautiful blog like the ones you "envy" in no time at all :)
totally understand about the blog envy. got a little bit of that goin' on myself. lucky you living near door county - one of my favorite places in the world, and no, not just 'cause my grandparents live there. :)
I'm Becca a midwest SAHM who, up until recently, had been morbidly obese for most of my life. Through God's amazing power, I was able to break the chains of my food addiction and change my lifestyle to include health eating and exercise habits.

It's okay to have blog envy, but it's even easier to get your own custom design. I recommend Suzie at Bluebird blogs.
Can't remember the exact URL, but you can get there via my blog. Check the credits!

Blog envy is a blogging way of life, right? At least it is around my place :)

Everybody starts somewhere!
I suffer from it as well. I don't know how some of these people do it. I have a cousin in Green Bay. Nice area, love Door County.
