It's Racin' Time!

Ok, technically, we still have a couple of months before we get into peak road race season, but today was the first road race of the year for me. I got up in the pre-dawn hours (after a late night scrapbooking) to run in the Seroogy's Valentine 5K in DePere. The weather could not have been more perfect! I think it was around 40 degrees at race time. I finished in 29 minutes, 13 seconds which put me 8th overall in my age class (37 total) and 69th out of 417 for all of the women. My times can only improve from here. Next up is the YMCA Indoor Triathalon right here in town in two weeks.
